Some years ago I made two copies of a book of photographs titled "South of the Border", using traditional bookbinding techniques and specifically selected materials. Beautifully textured Japanese cotton rag paper was used for the signatures, which in combination with a custom printer profile allowed to achieve the most accurate rendition of tonality and colors, as well as an overall high quality and antique feel for the book. French laid paper was used for the endpapers, and a handmade Nepali brocade for the case cloth.
